Under the Weather...

So today I am feeling a bit under the weather, physically and emotionally. That whole situation yesterday with the immature facebook comment really set me over the edge, in fact I let it ruin my whole evening so in the end I guess my so called friend won the battle, I let the immaturity get to me. I mean I am 27 yrs old, I am not in high school any more. My decision has been made to get that sort of thing out of my life, as sad as it is to admit. I firmly believe that she is a good person, I just can't have that unnecessary drama and game playing in my life, no one does, especially when high school/ middle school is long over - I am too old for that, I have never had to make such a heart retching decision like this to stop being friends with some one because of a maturity issue, but the reality of the situation is I don't see any other solution that is a healthy solution for my own well being....
That stupid little comment was like a snow ball effect for my day and I can't have that - I found out about that comment through a computer first of all... I mean come on, who does that? And then my day sort of spiraled out of control. The comment was not the reason it spiraled out of control there were many factors to why yesterday went wrong but that silly little comment was the straw that broke the camels back and was my wake up call to get the immature drama out of my life. Because drama like that can be avoided - it doesn't need to happen it actually spreads like a virus, it is very contagious - In fact many situations with this particular friend could of been avoided if she just dealt with things head on, instead of playing games and beating around the bush and acted mature about the situation. I mean we all do it at times and certain situations require beating around the bush and a level of immaturity (in a fun playful manner) but when you are dealing with friendship and emotions "playing games" to get your point across is just a message for disaster and down right bitchy. No one willingly chooses to have that in their life - in fact people choose to NOT have that in their life... As sad as it is and as shitty as I am feeling - the best thing I feel is to end the friendship here. Too many hurtful and I feel malicious things have happened to salvage what is left of the friendship. And other things have come to light since the facebook debacle that I just can not get past nor do I want that kind of thing in my life.
Now don't get me wrong I am not Miss Innocent here nor do I have friends coming out of my ass, I don't....- I think it takes 2 to tango no matter what kind of relationship it is - with friendship, family or a romantic relationship. I am not the "Best" Friend of the year. Nor am I pointing the finger here and there, I am just stating the facts. By no means am I saying I am not at fault for for things. I did my fair share of things that could be hurtful or damaging but one thing I pride myself on is understanding, giving compassion and making up for when I do things wrong and learning from my mistake so they don't happen again - I always do my best to understand the reasoning behind things and always try to give the benefit of the doubt and there are some things that can not just be overlooked especially when there is a pattern to it, not just an isolated event but a reoccurring pattern - and I can not stand for that, so if I am pegged the bad bitchy person so be it - I am standing up for my opinion and how I feel and I am not going to bend or compromise on that. The people who matter to me in my life and who want to be there for me understand that.
Life happens... there are ups and downs and in betweens and life is too short to be down all the time or to have someone else bring you down. I am putting this issue to rest and moving on :(
