Sisters

So I wanted to give you a bit more background on my family. I will start with my sisters. I will only give their initials. KR is the oldest she is 42 years old, been married twice and divorced twice and she has 4 beautiful kids to show for it, all from the same father (side note the father is the biggest A-hole you will ever meet). She is now dating the man of her dreams and he treats her and the kids wonderfully. Oh and one of her children is my God Son, my little love bug! KR has always been the one to take care of everyone and everything, she is very similar to my mother and is always willing to lend a helping hand. Then there is KP, she is 39 years old has been married for almost 15 years and she also has two beautiful children. KP lives out of state and that is hard on everyone. It is hard to have the kids away and it is hard because she is not included in everything because of the distance, but KP will be the first one by your side if there is any sign of trouble or need. She has always been know has the hippie/ bohemian of the family. Then there is my brother, DS, he is 37 years old is also married and has 3 beautiful kids. DS has always been know as the prince of the family. He married Barbie, has been the star football player - star with academics etc... and has always been the apple of my Father's eye, not to mention a mama's boy. And I also have a God Daughter in his family, my second little love bug :) Last but not least there is KS, she is 30 years old, no children and she lives with her boyfriend. KS is very unique and there is no way to really explain her expect KS is KS. She is the most lovable and kind person you will ever come across. Unfortunately KS has always had health issues and just recently she suffered a stroke. She is on the road to recovery and in a way the stroke happening was a reality check for her to change her life style and so far she has - thank God. And KP and I have been by her side the whole way and will continue to be there until she recovers 100%.
Then there are my parents. My parents are the absolute best, I know all children say this but in my case it is 110% true. My father is a deacon for the catholic church and my Mom works as a pastoral minister for that church but all growing up she was a stay home Mom. They have been married for 43 years and have 5 kids and 9 grand kids to show for it. They have raised each one of us with the love, respect and understanding every child deserves. We are truly blessed to have them as our parents. They are the kind of people who would give you the shirt right off their back no questions asked and no regrets for doing it. They give and give and give until there is nothing left to give and they do not expect anything in return. If I could be only a portion of the person they are I would be content. I strive to have the love they have and HOPE one day I will :)
So as you can see my family dynamics are very interesting - everyone has a place and role.
